Hi,
I have a 2019 3.6L RAM 1500 with just under 60,000 miles on it. For the past week I've noticed a ticking sound coming from the engine compartment at idle that becomes slightly more noticeable and more frequent as you speed up. At higher speeds I don't notice it as much. The truck was bought from a RAM dealership as certified preowned which from what I'm reading should mean it has 7-year/100,000-mile limited power train warranty (from original in-service date).
Anyone have any idea what this issue could be? Is it worth taking the truck to a dealership to have it looked at considering it's still under warranty (well at least the power train)?
Thank you
