RamBox equipped trucks do not have the braces at the front of the bed because the thickness that the RamBox bedsides provide enough support for the dual-function tailgate.
All non RamBox equipped trucks with the dual-function tailgate will have the two braces at the front of the bed for extra...
Usually the next month Incentives will go live after the weekend if the last day of the current month falls on Friday or Holiday weekend. So more than likely Monday or Tuesday the June Incentives will post on the sites and your dealer will know. Chances are you will get some kind of rebate as...
I would imagine the 1500's will be adopting the new style towing mirrors from the 2019 HD's. I bet the reason they were not on the 2019's was that they were still working on the final production models of those mirrors. Also, the 2020 model will feature the new gen EcoDiesel, and it will finally...
You do realize Ford re-used the same cab on the Super Duty from 1998-2016.... That's 18 years of the exact same cab design which helped them make massive profits!!!
What is wrong with FCA taking a similar strategy while investing in development of additional models?
I have realized over the past couple weeks as we have had some cold mornings here in Michigan, if you remote start the truck two consecutive times and it times out, it will not let you remote start the truck a third time.
I made the switch from Ford to Ram long ago, wont ever go back! With that being said, the 2019 Ram 1500 has a bigger cab than the F150, also the Mopar all weather mats that can come with some trucks have better fitment than Weathertechs. (The Limited's come with all weather mats, they have the...
Welcome to the Ram family, friendly reminder that the truck's are no longer a part of the Dodge brand. You have a Ram 1500, no Dodge logo's anywhere on that truck!
I would imagine since the trucks are designed and engineered in Auburn Hills, Michigan they would be able to withstand the harshest of winters. I wouldn't be worried one bit about them.
You will need more than just the screen, the search feature on this site is your best friend! Here is the link to the thread on this-- https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/8-4-to-12-1-screen-replacement.2344/page-7#post-87491
Congrats on the purchase! A little Ram Truck history for you, Ram separated into it's own brand from Dodge back in 2009. If you look around you new Ram Rebel you will not see any Dodge logos or markings!
Good luck with the Truck!
Just confirmed with a friend at work who traded his DS RamBox for a DT RamBox, you are indeed able to swap the DS hardware to the DT no problem and use the bed extender.
From the photo it looks like it would be very easy to pick up the hardware for a DS model and install on the same spot on the DT. From what it looks like the mounting points are the same and I believe the interior design of the bed on the RamBox DT trucks is carry over from the DS. If I had a...
Spoke with a buddy who was close with the development of the 2019 1500, he said that the 12.1 and 8.4 Nav are manufactured by Panasonic while the Non-Nav 8.4 unit is now manufactured by Harman. My guess is they took out some features to add in the Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
With that...
