Pretty pleased with my mx4. However the aluminum is soft. I placed a 10lb bag of ice on mine. Not dropped or tossed or slammed. Just set it down. It put a couple small dents in it. I am actually considering getting it sprayed with bedliner material. Overall it keeps most of the water out...
Same boat. I could hear the difference on stock exhaust. But I always felt like I was in a soggy spot between gears. I think the noise is just turbulence with the extra air not being able to be ingested by the engine. I bought mine directly from AFE and they were great with the OB return...
In GA. Just thinking it would probably be a bit tougher with the liner sprayed. The aluminum that sandwiches the styrofoam is very thin. I may call some local shops and see if they have ever done it.
So I bought a folding bed cover. Won't name the name but it rhymes with black slip. Nice cover. I set a bag of ice on it the other day. Not hard, not soft. With about as much effort as you would set a bag of ice on anything. And it pitted it. Anyone ever had bedliner sprayed on a tonneau...
Interesting. my 2011 1500 never did it. Just see people talking about AC problems and blend doors and so forth.. wondering how many other folks had seen this.
So my 1500 has a notorious habit of getting condensation where the defrost setting would normally blow. But this is with the dash or dash/floor mix selected. it looks like cold air is coming out of the defrost vents and causing moisture to condensate outside of the glass. Anyone?
I think this is the route i'm going to go https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B79F8CW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 all I need is power for the munchers.
So I ordered an AFE CFI. Put it all together. So with the seal on and the hole for air intake being the same... How is the air "cold" and how is it getting more volume if it is coming through the same hole? Comments, sarcasm, flames awaited.
