I've enjoyed my 2019 Ltd for 50k miles, despite some warranty work that I wouldn’t have expected from a true quality build (seat fans, exhaust manifolds, sideboard motors, battery/electrical/e-torque... glad I had the 7 yr warranty!). I plan to consider the Ramcharger when it comes out (in yr 6...
lol…yeah, this thread is def rambling (me included)…So let’s take a step back and ask ‘why do we care if Ram sales plummet?’ If sales suck, production isn’t on track for time or quality, and dealers are sitting on old inventory, why did the board approve the CEO’s pay? (That’s rhetorical…99.999%...
Yep…when we were in college (1980), mortgages were around 14% and we groused that we’d never be able to own a home. At some point in a person’s life, they have to choose between stepping up & doing what it takes to get where they want to be or stay in their lane and ‘hope’. Both sides can/will...
For us retired ‘curmudgeons’ that saved all out lives, never finance anything but a mortgage and only invest in treasury funds and CDs, those interest rates are welcome…
My RAM dealer in ABQ did that move with me… I took the filter out of his hand (in the waiting area), banged it on the table edge several times, flipped my finger along the pleats, banged it again and handed it back to him “looks fine to me!” Every subsequent visit the air filter was determined...
It’s all been said on payload, etc. I’d add that having a truck that’s close to the gross weight of the trailer will be a nightmare in wind. Part of 2500’s better tow performance is the tail not wagging the dog! For all those quoting tongue wt from a sticker, get thee to a CAT scale! My new...
And there’s the answer…I have it on my 2019 Ltd and after 50,000 miles I realized it was only during gusty winds hitting the truck from 20-60° angle to the front (I don’t drive 80mph and the higher the wind speed, the more noise. We drove in such conditions one day with one of us moving all over...
isn't that really UPS or FedEx? shippers have gone to pot post-COVID. I’m a weaver and have had neighbors bring me spools of cotton they found in their driveways after UPS had delivered a beaten-up box to me. FedEx delivered a tv stand to another building on the other side of our complex and...
My 2019 did exact same thing. Dealer told me there‘s a ridge up under the body that fills with dirt that has to be blasted out (lived in NM & EVERYTHING there fills with dirt)… this was bs and typical. After moving to TX, dealer here said motor was shorting. I have 7 yr extended so it was free...
Can’t comment on most of that, but if you get a smell like feet from your AC, you should have the cabin air filter changed. i run re-circ most of the time ’cause we lived in NM where dirt is everywhere (including most roads) and once the filter gets dirty, humidity really sets up a funk.
‘Extra software’ could easily disrupt RAM…When the 12” screen came out in ’19 there was a LOT of stuff not available because UConnect had written it for the 8” and they took their sweet time getting it running for the 12” (the ‘19s came to market with the ‘17 NAV system installed). I’m too old...
Just had mine replaced on 2019 Ltd and the shop said Dodge/Ram have proprietary recallibration tools/methods. Installer said as long as he doesn’t disconnect cameras there’s usually no issue. new windshield is in and everything works as before, so I’m leaning toward believing them.
We got a pet carrier box on Amazon when we got our pup. It had zippers on the corners so you could fold it flat for storage, a strap thru grommets at the back bottom corners that connected to seatbelt receivers, and a strap that looped around the front & back seat headrests to hold it up...
