The available colors are…

“Ram wants to honor those who are serving or have serviced the U.S. with distinction,” said Reid Bigland, Head of the Ram Brand. “For Ram truck owners, whether military or civilian, “Built to Serve” is a maxim that they can be proud to stand behind. We also want to bring together Ram owners who are not currently serving to make a difference in their communities. We launched our Ram Nation volunteer organization in 2015 as a way to give our Ram truck owners a way to be involved when there’s a need.”

There is a lot more than just the low-volume colors that set these trucks apart from the standard Ram 1500s. Starting with the U.S. Flag and Built to Serve decal on the rear box sides, the Built to Serve Editions also feature black front and rear bumpers, a black grille and surround, Tradesman grille inserts, black badging, body-colored fender flares, black bezel LED headlamps and tail lights from the Rebel and Night Edition trucks, black wheel to wheel side steps, and a set of black 4-inch exhaust tips. For those of you with a keen eye, the wheels are also the 20-inch aluminum wheels design from the Big Horn Black package but are finished in a unique Technical Gray finish, exclusive to the Built to Serve trucks.

As part of the Built to Serve initiative, Ram is bringing further attention to its volunteer initiative called “Ram Nation”. Ram Nation has been organizing grassroots volunteer events since 2015 and through the launch of the Built to Serve Edition trucks, is reinforcing its commitment to recognizing those who serve our nation and our communities.

Starting today, the Ram brand is launching a new digital spot featuring the volunteers of Ram Nation, who donate their time and to volunteer in their own communities across the nation. The brand is setting a goal of 1.3 million volunteer hours of service by next Veterans Day (November 11th, 2020). That goal is equal to one hour for each person serving in the U.S. Armed Services. To join and learn about new Ram Nation volunteer events, new members can register at the “Ram Nation” website.
