5thGenRams has finally had a chance to get hands on with the 2019 Ram at the Vancouver International Auto Show. If you follow us on Facebook you have probably seen our live video from the show. There are 2 Limiteds, a Longhorn, a Sport and Rebel on display at the show, unfortunately the batteries are disconnected so I didn’t have a chance to play with any of the electronics.
If you like the looks of these trucks in photos you are going to love it in person. The front ends on the Sport and Rebel look clean and aggressive while the Longhorn and Limited font ends look upscale and sleek. The overall lines and presence of the truck are something that really need to be seen in person.
Moving to the interior, all the materials are very high quality, everything looks and feels premium and the fit and finish is top notch. The Limited and Longhorn have a smooth thick cut leather covering the dash and upper door panels, while the Sport and Rebel feature a nicely grained leather dash top. The 12 Inch UConnect screen is something that definitely needs to be seen in person, you can read all about it and try to picture the size, but to see it in person is something else entirely.
While we haven’t driven it yet, all the reviews that are out so far seem very favourable towards the new Ram. 5thGenRams will be doing a full video test drive review on the all new Ram 1500 shortly so make sure you stay tuned for that, as of right now I definitely think Ram has a hit on it’s hands with the all new truck.
