Stellantis Recalls 2023 Ram Trucks For Transmission Defect

Fluid Leaks May Cause Drive Power Loss In 214 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 Vehicles...

Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 214 units of its 2023 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 vehicles due to an insufficient weld in the transmission control unit. This defect can cause transmission fluid to leak onto electrical components, potentially resulting in a loss of drive power or a malfunction of the parking function. A loss of drive power or park function increases the risk of a crash.
