Ram Trucks has something big up its sleeve, and the brand’s latest teasers may have just given us the clue we needed. Over the past week, eagle-eyed fans have noticed subtle hints dropped across Ram’s social media platforms, signaling the unveiling of something exciting in just a few short weeks.

The first hint came in the form of an image showing burnout marks on pavement—an unmistakable nod to a high-performance, street-oriented truck. Ram also swapped its social media profile icon to a bold black Ram’s head logo on a bright yellow background.

If you’re familiar with Ram’s history, this color scheme should sound familiar. Back in 2004, Ram (then part of Dodge) introduced the Rumble Bee—a limited-edition model that paid homage to the Dodge Coronet Super Bee muscle car of the late ’60s. The Rumble Bee quickly became a fan favorite, blending muscle car attitude with Ram’s truck capability.
In 2014, Ram marked the 10-year anniversary of the original Rumble Bee with a HEMI®-powered Ram 1500 Rumble Bee Concept, drawing inspiration from a lineup of bold, heritage-inspired trucks, including the Lil’ Red Express, Warlock, and Power Wagon.

Now, it seems Ram may be bringing the buzz back. Industry whispers—and Ram’s own breadcrumbs—suggest that the long-awaited HEMI V8 is returning to the Ram 1500 lineup. Ram fans have been vocal about missing the distinctive V8 rumble, so what better way to celebrate its return than with a modern-day Rumble Bee special edition?
Stay tuned for full coverage of Ram’s big reveal—we’ll have all the details right here on June 8.
