RamCharger TRX, Might Just Be The Ultimate SUV!

Digital Design, Makes Us Crave A Fullsize Ram SUV...

Our friend digital artist wb_artist20 is at it again. You might remember some Ram 1500-based SUV designs like his Rebel-influenced RamCharger two-door and his TRX-inspired four-door performance off-roader. Now he has created something even better a TRX-based two-door RamCharger design.

While the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is the quickest, fastest, and most powerful mass-produced truck in the world. With that being said, the supercharged 6.2-liter HELLCAT HEMI V8 that underpins the TRX can also be found in two popular street-performance-based SUVs – the 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and the limited edition 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, there has yet to be a performance off-road SUV offering with the powerplant.

A modern-day RamCharger has been at the top of many performance Ram fans’ wish list. With the all-new Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer making their debut this month, people have been wondering why doesn’t Ram offers a full-size SUV like the Wagoneer twins which are already based on the Ram 1500 architecture.

Although it seems that the Ram brand is sticking to pickups and commercial vans, this latest two-door RamCharger design shows us that the TRX’s macho good looks would be a great base for an SUV if Ram ever decided to build one.

While a two-door model seems very unlikely to make it to production in a time of four-door SUVs, there are still plenty of people out there who would ultimately prefer a two-door model.

On the notion of building a performance off-roader in SUV form, SUVs just like trucks have conquered the off-road world. With a shorter wheelbase, a RamCharger could be a better rock-crawler than the TRX as well as offering better approach angles and a better turning radius.

All we know is if there was such an SUV, we would be first to the dealership to sign up for it.
