Ram Ups the Ante with 10-Year, 100K-Mile Powertrain Warranty
Covers 2026 Ram Trucks and Vans, Including Power Wagon and RHO

Ram is raising the bar on what truck owners can expect when it comes to peace of mind. For the 2026 model year, the brand has introduced “America’s Best Full-Size Truck Limited Powertrain Warranty”—a 10-year, 100,000-mile promise that covers nearly every full-size Ram truck and van sold in the U.S.

This bold new move applies to 2026MY Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Ram 3500, Ram 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab, and Ram ProMaster vans, including enthusiast favorites like the high-performance Ram RHO and legendary Ram Power Wagon. Full battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) are not covered under this warranty.
For Ram, this isn’t just a gimmick—it’s a show of confidence. It’s also the most aggressive warranty offering from a Chrysler Group brand since the 7-year, 70,000-mile powertrain warranty that turned heads back in the early 2000s.

“Everything is more expensive, and trucks are certainly no exception,” said Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis. “Truck buyers are financing purchases for longer periods of time, with nearly 80% of new truck loans exceeding five years. Our customers are making a long-term investment in Ram, and with America’s Best Full-size Truck Limited Powertrain Warranty, Ram is making a stronger and longer commitment to our customers.”
This new powertrain warranty covers the engine, transmission, transfer case, driveshafts, differentials, and axles for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. It applies to retail customers and business leases, but fleet purchases are excluded. Also, it’s important to note that the warranty is only good for the original owner.

With new truck prices pushing higher and loan terms stretching longer than ever before, Ram’s extended warranty is a strategic and customer-focused move. It gives buyers added protection, long-term value, and most importantly, peace of mind.
