Ram Updates Its ‘Build & Price’ Configurator For The 2025 Ram 1500

Now You Can Build Your Own Dream 2025 Ram 1500 Pickup...

With production of the updated 2025 Ram 1500 underway at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP), Ram has updated its website to include the updated half-tons in its Build & Price configurator.

After doing some playing around on there, we did realize a number of the trims get expensive real quick when you start clicking the option boxes. Among some of the highlights we did find was that the entry-level Tradesman model will continue on into 2025 with the Sport Appearance Package, Night Edition Appearance Package, and the off-road-oriented Warlock Package.

If you are looking for a sharp-looking budget-friendly option, the two-wheel-drive (4×2) Tradesman Sport in a Quad Cab 6-foot, 4-inch box might be up your alley. Coming standard with a 305-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with eTorque mild-hybrid system under the hood, the Sport Appearance Package adds things like chrome R-A-M text to the grille, body-color front bumper, rear bumper, and grille surround, as well as front LED fog lamps, and 20-inch x 9-inch aluminum wheels with 275/55R20 all-season rubber. The Sport does make you check the optional Tradesman Level 1 Package as a mandatory item, but it adds a cloth bench seat, front and rear floor mats, and a rear power-sliding window. If you choose a no-cost color option like Bright White, the truck can have a price tag of $45,165 including destination.

Those looking for a darker look can opt for the Tradesman with Night Edition Appearance Package. Now, the only bad thing about the Night Edition Package on the Tradesman is that you are limited to having it on a Crew Cab 5-foot, 7-inch and Crew Cab 6-foot, 4-inch in 4×2, and Crew Cab 6-foot, 4-inch 4×4 configurations. Like the Sport, the Night Edition forces you to equip the Level 1 package, but with the Night Edition, you get a Black R-A-M grille and tailgate badges, an anti-spin differential, Black exterior badges, Black interior accents, body-color front and rear bumpers, front LED fog lights, and front and rear floor mats. Opt for the Crew Cab 5-foot, 7-inch 4×2 model with the Pentastar V6 and a choice of a no-cost color (Flame Red or Bright White) and you are looking at a price tag of $48,710 including destination.

If the off-road-oriented Rebel is too much for your wallet, you can opt for the Tradesman Warlock. A popular model on the Ram 1500 Classic, the trim was introduced on the 2023 Ram 1500 very late into the model year. Only available on the Crew Cab 5-foot, 7-inch 4×4 model, the Warlock does force you to step up to the 420 horsepower 3.0-liter HURRICANE standard-output (S/O) I6 which is a $2,695 upcharge. With that, you do get the more robust 8HP75 8-speed automatic transmission at no extra cost. The Warlock Package adds a Black R-A-M Grille badge, Black exterior badges, a 7-inch TFT display cluster, dual-exhaust with Black tips, electronic locking rear axle, front LED fog lamps, front and rear performance-tuned shocks, front suspension skid plate, full-size spare tire, front and rear rubber Mopar floor mats, a 1-inch factory lift, Selec-Speed™ control, steering gear skid plate, tow hooks, transfer case skid plate, and Warlock box side decals. If you choose a no-cost color option, the price of the truck is $54,560 including destination.

If you are looking for more of a premium option, that is stylish and not going to go into the $70,000 mark, look no further than the 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab 4×4 with the Southwest Edition Package. The package is only available in certain markets, like Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, western Tennessee, and Texas. But if you are lucky enough to be in one of those markets, the Southwest Edition adds a lot of great content for $2,595 to the Laramie. Laramie Southwest models get a chrome R-A-M grille badge, accent-color premium power mirrors, automatic-dimming exterior driver mirror, automatic power-folding mirrors, Black-painted exterior mirror caps, body-color front and rear bumpers, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, heated and memory exterior mirrors with supplemental signals and courtesy lamps, chrome grille inserts with body-color surround, power running boards, tow hooks, and a trailer brake controller. The Southwest Package also makes it mandatory to equip the Laramie with the Level 1 Package which includes rain-sensitive windshield wipers and a power-tailgate release. If you choose a no-cost color like Bright White, the Laramie Southwest Edition with standard HURRICANE S/O power will set you back $68,865 including destination.
