Ending the second consecutive year of record sales with a flourish, Ram Brazil has just launched its 2022 lineup of the most capable, most technologically advanced, and most luxurious pickup trucks in the country in the 53 dealerships of the brand. Among the high points, there are evolutions in technology and some visual changes, in addition to the expansion of the range of possibilities for the Ram 2500 buyer.
2022 Ram 2500 Laramie –
As the sixth best-selling premium vehicle in Brazil and flagship model of the brand, the Ram 2500 sold 2,189 units up to the end of November. Ram 2500 Laramie enters the 2022 model year with new design touches, which include a new set of wheels and a front grille design (now on par with the North American model). The tailgate now has new LED lighting over the handle, to facilitate trailer hitching at night.
As the most capable pickup truck in Brazil (can tow 7861 kg/17,330 lbs.), the Ram 2500 has also received upgrades with its new Uconnect 5 software, in a standard 12-inch screen format – the largest in its category. Now connections via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay can be done wirelessly and the system is faster and now features the possibility of pairing two phones at the same time. Also inside, the cabin air filter becomes the N95 type, improving air quality.
In addition, the Ram 2500 Laramie Night Edition returns for 2022, which was very successful in 2020. The wheels and grille are the same as the 2021 model but all chrome finishes are black or in body color, giving a more aggressive appearance. Even the interior is all-black, contrasting with the brown and beige pattern, of the traditional Ram 2500 Laramie.
More Technology, Security, & Luxury –
Reinforced by the cab lights, a cluster of five lights just above the windshield, the Ram 2500 Laramie Night Edition’s distinctive look comes with an extensive technology package. For added safety, there is Adaptive Cruise Control with stop (ACC+), frontal collision warning with braking (FCW+), and active correction lane stay sensor.
Comfort and well-being have been enhanced with 17-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio, 10-inch subwoofer, and 750-watts of power; a wireless phone charger (RamCharger); heating rear side seats; digital rearview mirror, and power running boards.
