Ram Trucks Has Best Sales Month Ever In Brazil

The year 2023 has undeniably marked a significant milestone for Ram Trucks in Brazil. With the successful launch of its first pickup produced in the country, the brand has witnessed an unprecedented surge in sales, surpassing all previous records. Notably, the new compact Rampage has emerged as a game-changer, solidifying its position as a formidable player in the Brazilian automotive market.

Ram Trucks experienced a remarkable 213% surge in sales compared to the same period in 2022, signaling a meteoric rise in its market presence. In October alone, the brand achieved its highest monthly performance in 2023, and indeed in its entire history in the Brazilian market, with a total of 3,081 pickup trucks sold. This impressive feat translated into a commendable 1.5% increase in market share within the passenger vehicle and light commercial segments for the month. When focusing solely on the compact, medium, and large pickup truck segments, Ram Trucks secured an impressive 13.6% market share.

The star of the show, the Rampage, lived up to its much-anticipated reputation, shaking up the Brazilian market with a staggering 2,542 units registered in October alone. This achievement catapulted the Rampage to the top of the charts, making it the most sought-after model in the brand’s portfolio for a single month. Furthermore, in October, the Rampage also earned a coveted spot in the ranking of the top five best-selling pickup trucks in the country.

When examining the cumulative sales for the year, Ram Trucks continued to impress, with a total of 10,417 pickup trucks sold, marking a phenomenal 213% increase over the same period in 2022. Notably, alongside the new Rampage, imported models also played a pivotal role in driving sales. The 3500 model recorded an impressive 2,868 units sold, while the Ram 1500 Classic and 2500 models achieved 1,824 and 1,367 units sold in 2023, respectively. In the premium market, these three models have secured their place among the top 10 best-sellers in the country. The 1500 model also demonstrated its popularity, with 1,225 vehicles sold year-to-date.
