Ram To Unveil Updated 2025 Ram 1500 Tomorrow
Updated Styling, More Tech, New Engine, and New Ultra-Premium Trim Expected...
Stellantis, the parent company of FCA US, LLC, has recently withdrawn its participation from several upcoming automotive events, such as the LA Auto Show this month and the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January. However, amidst this decision, Ram is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated 2025 Ram 1500 (DT) lineup with a livestream event scheduled for tomorrow.
This unveiling marks a milestone for the current fifth-generation Ram, initially introduced in January 2018 as a 2019 model. While the core body design is expected to remain consistent, the 2025 Ram 1500 will showcase refreshed front and rear styling, including a striking new taillight design.
Some of the key updates set to be highlighted were recently teased in the 2025 Ram 1500 REV unveiling. One of the most exciting reveals will be the introduction of the ultra-premium Tungsten trim level. This top-tier trim will feature an array of cutting-edge features, including the advanced Uconnect 5 system with a state-of-the-art 14.5-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an industry-first 10.25-inch passenger screen, digital rearview mirror, Head-up Display (HUD), and a high-end Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system.
The Tungsten trim’s interior will exude luxury and sophistication with its Indigo/Sea Salt color scheme, platinum patina/semi-bright dual-textured metal accents with diamond knurling, suede-wrapped headliner, A- and B-pillars, and visors. Moreover, the driver and front passenger seats will be equipped with 24-way power adjustments, memory settings, massage function, power lumbar support, and four-way powered headrests, ensuring a truly premium driving experience.
Additional features that contribute to the Tungsten’s high-quality appearance include a distinctive Tungsten badge on the center console, brushed platinum patina aluminum litho bezels, a unique shifter center cap, an ultra-premium Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system boasting 23 speakers, dual wireless chargers, and a metal pedal kit.
Excitingly, we can also anticipate learning about the replacement of the current 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine. The 2025 Ram 1500 is expected to feature the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter HURRICANE I6 engine, which has already demonstrated its prowess in the Ram 1500’s platform mate, the Grand Wagoneer (WS). This new engine delivers an impressive 510 horsepower and 500 lb.-ft. of torque, making it a significant upgrade from the existing 5.7-liter engine. The tried-and-true ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic transmission is expected to remain part of the powertrain configuration.
For all the thrilling details, tune in tomorrow at 12:01 a.m. EST on Tuesday, November 7th, to catch the livestream unveiling. Stay tuned for a comprehensive look at what the 2025 Ram 1500 has in store for pickup truck enthusiasts.
