TRX Final Edition Goes South Of The Border, With A Hefty Price...
The 2024 Ram 1500 TRX Final Edition arrives in Mexico as a limited edition goodbye to the “apex predator” in the world of off-road pickups.
When it debuted in 2020 as a 2021 model, the TRX consolidated Ram as the market leader of off-road pickups around the world, establishing it as a benchmark in terms of power and performance among half-ton pickups thanks to its powerful supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® HELLCAT V8 engine.
With its 702 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque, the HELLCAT V8 drives the TRX to a maximum speed of 118 mph (190 km/h). Combined with a ZF-sourced 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission and its high torque delivery, the Ram TRX can do 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.5 seconds and a 1/4-mile of 12.9 seconds at 174 km/h (108 mph).
When we first drove the TRX in 2021, we achieved a 0 to 97 km/h (60 mph) time of 3.86 seconds at sea level.
The Final Edition offers buyers of high-performance pickups the last chance to get a hold of Ram’s performance off-road history. Three exclusive colors will be offered to make the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX Final Edition even more special: Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue, and Harvest Sunrise.
