Ram Truck has just released its first of four commercials to kick-off the second annual Ram agriculture (Ag) season. The first video called “Done Right” is a 30-second spot now being featured on Rams YouTube channel, with an extended minute-long version to come.
With up to 1,000 lb.-ft of torque (Ram 3500 Cummins HO models), best-in-class 35,100 pound towing capacity, and up to 7,680lbs of payload capacity, the Ram Heavy Duty lineup has the guts to get the work done. In addition, Ram Heavy Duties have the most luxurious interiors in the class, most interior space with the Mega Cab model, and best ride and handling in their class with the exclusive link coil rear suspension (2500 models) and optional auto-leveling rear air suspension.
Ram 1500 models also have an impressive max towing capacity of 12,750lbs in the right configuration and a maximum payload capacity of up to 2,300 lbs. The upcoming 2020 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel with 260 horsepower and 480 lb.-ft of torque also has best in class half-ton diesel towing capacity of 12,560lbs.
In addition, there will be three more minute-long vignettes each featuring a different farm family coming to Rams YouTube channel in the coming weeks. The featured farms will be:
- Na Lar Farms – Hanover, Michigan
- Howe Farms – Horton, Michigan
- Tantre Farm – Chelsea, Michigan
“To the farming community, what they do every day is more than just a job, it is a way of life that requires hard work, perseverance and determination,” said Marissa Hunter, Head of Marketing, FCA – North America. “The Ram Truck brand knows and respects this. We work hard to provide the right trucks and proper support to these very people who have dedicated their lives to agriculture, and we are proud to celebrate these shared values in our dedicated Ag Season marketing campaign.”
In addition, Ram also continues to support farming communities with upcoming Ram-sponsored events and opportunities aimed squarely at lending support to the efforts of the nation’s farmers, including the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois, Aug. 27-29; Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island, Nebraska, Sept. 10-12; the Farm Science Review in London, Ohio, Sept. 17-19; and the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia, Oct. 15-17. Ram will also have a strong presence at the annual Future Farmers of America (FFA) convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, Oct. 30-Nov. 2. The brand has been an active supporter of FFA for more than 60 years.
From now through Labor Day, farm owners are eligible for an additional $500 rebate on all Ram trucks. On top of that Ram offers unique dealer incentives for farm-owning customers of the Ram truck lineup and, through Ram’s relationships with many diverse agriculture brands, customers can take advantage of additional incentives and discounts on purchases, worth thousands of dollars, of farm and ranch equipment and management tools.
