Ram Laramie / Rebel G/T Package To Return In 2025

With the 2025 Ram 1500 (DT) pickup kicking off production on Monday, February 5th, we are continuing to learn more about the lineup for the new model year. Ram enthusiasts should be happy to hear that the popular G/T Package is returning to the Laramie and Rebel models. The G/T Package adds a little more excitement to those who are looking for a little performance, luxury, and technology from their trucks.

Power Boost with the Hurricane S/O Engine:

The headline feature of the 2025 G/T Package is the inclusion of the potent 420 horsepower and 469 lb.-ft. of torque Hurricane Standard-Output (S/O) engine. Despite its smaller 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged displacement, this engine delivers 25 horsepower and 59 lb.-ft. of torque more than its predecessor, the trusty HEMI. 

Distinctive Exterior Styling:

The G/T models flaunt a sporty aesthetic with a “G/T” bedside decal, a Sport performance hood, and a set of eye-catching G/T decals. These trucks aren’t just about power; they make a statement on the road.

Interior Upgrades for a Commanding Presence:

Inside, both the Laramie and Rebel G/T models receive a host of upgrades to enhance the driving experience. Sink into leather/vinyl bucket seats adorned with the G/T logo and enjoy the comfort of heated and ventilated front seats. The Rebel G/T, in particular, adds exterior mirrors with memory and a premium overhead console for an extra touch of luxury.

Performance Pages:

For those who love to keep tabs on their truck’s performance, the G/T Package comes with Performance Pages as standard equipment. This feature provides real-time information, including timers for metrics like 0-60 mph elapsed time, g-force, gauges, and engine performance. You can even download this data to a USB stick for easy sharing – perfect for bragging rights among friends.

Enhanced Driving Control:

Both the Laramie and Rebel G/T models feature paddle shifters and a console-mounted performance shifter, giving drivers a more hands-on approach to their driving experience. The inclusion of a 3.92 rear axle ratio ensures that power is efficiently delivered to the wheels.

Level 2 Equipment Package:

To unlock the G/T Package’s full potential, buyers need to opt for the Level 2 Equipment Package. This comprehensive package includes a variety of features such as memory seats, adjustable pedals with memory, and accent lighting to elevate the driving experience.

Availability and Pricing:

While Ram has not officially announced the return of the G/T models, dealer guides have spilled the beans, suggesting that the G/T Package will indeed be available for both the Laramie and Rebel trims in 2025. As for pricing, it looks to be an additional $3,095 USD on top of the Level 2 Equipment Package.
