Ram Announces “Revolution” Website & Teases Upcoming Electric Concept Pickup!

Ram Wants Customer Feedback On Future Electric Vehicle Portfolio...

After the interwebs were filled with false rumors about the Ram Truck brand naming its upcoming full-size electric pickup the “Ram Revolution”, Ram has now pulled the covers off of its “Revolution” name patent that sparked so much controversy in the past week.

The “Ram Revolution” will be an exclusive insider program that fans of the Ram Truck brand can join to keep updated on the progress of the upcoming 2024 Ram 1500 battery-electric vehicle (BEV). That is right, Ram Trucks will keep its “1500” nameplate going forward with its full-size electric pickup.

A new site, RamRevolution.com will serve as a hub to provide consumers with a closer connection with the brand and its electric-vehicle (EV) philosophy, meaningful updates with unique visuals, content, and an ongoing dialogue that will include the opportunity to provide input as Ram EV trucks are developed. This includes vehicles beyond just the Ram 1500 BEV.

“Launched as a stand-alone truck brand in 2009, Ram revolutionized the pickup truck segment once, and is laser-focused on doing so again with the best electric trucks on the market,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram CEO. “Our new Ram Revolution campaign will allow us to engage with consumers in a close and personal way, so we can gather meaningful feedback, understand their wants and needs and address their concerns – ultimately allowing us to deliver the best electric pickup truck on the market with the Ram 1500 BEV.”

Ram also dropped a couple of teaser images of a new concept vehicle that is being developed. The intention of the concept vehicle is to gain feedback from potential customers and help the Ram Truck brand develop and fine-tune the 2024 Ram 1500 BEV to customers’ needs.

Ram is also debuting a new “Ram Real Talk Tour” series, which will consist of yearlong conversations with customers at various events, to better understand what the next generation of Ram pickups and vans must do to meet their needs going forward.

“The Ram brand’s promise is grounded in our unique ‘Built to Serve’ philosophy, and our new Ram Revolution campaign takes this pledge even further,” Koval added. “At Ram, we are built to serve our customers, understanding and delivering exactly what they need and want in a Ram. Our next generation Ram solutions will be powerful and capable trucks that tow, haul, complete the job and always go the distance.”

Ram has already announced that it will deliver full-electric solutions for a majority of its segments by 2025, as well as a full portfolio of electrified solutions for all of its segments by 2030. We have already seen prototypes of the Ram Promaster BEV full-size van already on the road, as it plans to debut sometime later this year.
