Ken Block, rally car champion, action sports superstar, and co-founder of DC Shoes and the Hoonigan brands has passed away at the age of 55 following a snowmobile accident in Utah.
According to reports from the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, Block was riding a snowmobile on a steep slope when the sled suddenly flipped and landed on top of him. The report indicates that Block was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries from the incident.
Hoonigan Industries on Instagram: “It’s with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today. Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missed. The 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Limited Edition was the second of three installments thus far of the famed supercharged off-roader.
