FCA has released their sales numbers for the Ram brand for the month of October, and do they look great. In the United States, Ram brand sales rose 14% to 54,542 vehicles, a historic high for October. It was also the eighth-straight month of record retail sales since the brand launched in 2009. Retail sales increased 12% to 42,138 vehicles. The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 drove the performance as retail sales climbed 20% to 28,459 vehicles for a new October record.
In Canada, the Ram truck brand reported sales of 6,677 vehicles for the month, an increase of 10% compared with the previous year. The all-new Ram 1500 was the driver with 5,329 sales, up 10% over last October. Ram pickup sales for the overall year are down 14% over the same period last year. While United States sales of pickups are growing, Canada sales are decreasing across the board for not just trucks but all vehicles. October, marked the 15th straight month of a decline in sales for the Canadian auto industry.
In Mexico sales for the month, the Ram brand achieved sales of 1,889 units. From January to October 2018, the brand has increased its sales 1% versus the same period in 2017.
