Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 Special Edition Arrives In Dealer Showrooms!

Back in April, Mopar announced the launch of the performance and accessory brand’s twelfth special edition vehicle – the Mopar ’21 Ram 1500. The new special-edition pickup marks the second time that Mopar has tapped the Ram Truck portfolio for the basis of its annual limited production series, the first being the 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel Crew Cab 4×4. For this year’s special edition model, Mopar has tapped the popular 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn/Lone Star Crew Cab 4×4 as the basis for the vehicle.

To help set itself apart from other 2021 Ram 1500s on the road, the Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 Special Edition (AYD) includes a number of Mopar accessories and added options. Those options include…

Powering the Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 Special Edition is the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 with variable-valve timing (VVT) delivering 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque. The HEMI is mated to a ZF-sourced 8HP75 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission as standard equipment.

Just how limited is this new special edition pickup? Mopar intends to build only 250 units for the United States and 40 units for Canada. Customers will be able to choose their Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 Special Edition in four exterior colors such as Billet Silver, Bright White, Flame Red, and Hydro Blue. 

The Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 Special Edition is only available on Ram 1500 Big Horn/Lone Star Crew Cab 4×4 with a 5-foot, 7-inch box. Those trucks must include the Big Horn Level 2 Equipment Group. The Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 Special Edition will be available later this summer. The U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the package is $8,500 (Canadian MSRP is $9,995).
