The highly-anticipated Ram performance-based off-roader is here! The RAM brand will officially show off its first performance-based vehicle since the Viper V10-powered Dodge Ram SRT-10. With the introduction of the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX (internally called the “T-Rex”), RAM plans for the TRX to directly go over the Ford F-150 Raptor, as RAM is directly going after the blue-oval brand after taking second place from Chevrolet in 2019. The TRX is the first big step in that direction.
Powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® Hellcat V8, the TRX unleashes power levels never seen from a production pickup from the factory before. Upgraded off-road suspension, lots of new technology enhancing the overall safety, refinement, and capability of trucks, as well as unique styling, set the TRX apart from previous Ram-based off-roaders before.
