Kaulig Racing Signs On As Ram’s First NASCAR Truck Team

A Bold New Chapter Begins In 2026

Ram is officially back in NASCAR, and Kaulig Racing will be leading the charge. The team has signed on as the first factory-backed entry for Ram’s highly anticipated return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, starting with the 2026 season.

It’s been since 2012 that fans have seen the Ram badge in NASCAR, and the wait will finally end on February 13, 2026, at Daytona International Speedway. That Friday night, under the lights, Kaulig Racing will debut up to five Ram 1500 trucks in the season-opening Truck Series race.

Ram unveiled its return earlier this year at Michigan International Speedway, using a Ram 5500 with a custom trailer and concept race truck to smoke donuts for the crowd. That show set the stage for what many consider a major comeback moment in NASCAR’s modern era.

Kaulig Racing Named Anchor Team –

Kaulig Racing, founded in 2016 by Ohio businessman and philanthropist Matt Kaulig, has quickly grown into one of NASCAR’s most competitive organizations. Already fielding two cars in the NASCAR Cup Series and three in the Xfinity Series, the team has collected 29 combined victories across NASCAR’s top levels in just seven years.

“This partnership represents far more than a new chapter in Kaulig Racing’s history, it’s a union of shared values,” said Matt Kaulig. “To now join forces as the anchor team for Ram’s return to NASCAR is both an honor and a responsibility. Together, we’re ready to set a new standard on race day and in the impact we make off the track.”

Kaulig Racing President Chris Rice also credited the team’s steady rise, saying, “We are proud of what the men and women of Kaulig Racing have accomplished over the past decade. Special thanks to Ty Norris for his dedication to helping us get to the next level.”

Ram’s Commitment To NASCAR –

Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis explained why Kaulig Racing was chosen as the anchor team: “We needed a partner that truly aligns with the Ram brand and embraces our unconventional approach to NASCAR. With Kaulig Racing, we found the perfect synergy to drive our ‘Last Tenth’ culture forward.”

The collaboration between Ram and Kaulig Racing isn’t just about adding trucks to the field—it’s about building a long-term presence in NASCAR that reflects Ram’s strength, toughness, and commitment to motorsports.

Looking Ahead To Daytona –

While Kaulig Racing hasn’t announced its 2026 Truck Series driver lineup yet, anticipation is already building for Daytona. The combination of a proven, ambitious race team and the return of a major automaker means expectations will be high from the start.

Fans can watch history made on Friday, February 13, 2026, when Kaulig Racing and Ram debut together in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Daytona, broadcast live on Fox Sports 1, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
