Wheels too big?

I have a 2019 Bighorn Quad 4x4 and it's time for me to get new wheels. I have always had tire envy looking at other Rams and have felt the stocks on mine look tiny. I realize that many trucks I see may have been lifted, which mine is not, but I wanted to see if I could get some larger tires on mine. The stocks on mine are 275/55R20's. I was interested in the Continental H/T tires and asked my dealer if the 275/60R20's would fit and they said they would not. I don't know much about tires but the tire I want looks to be only an inch more in diameter than my stocks tires? Even when I turn the wheels there appears to be tons of clearance. What am I missing?

Going up to that size tire should be fine.


Tire shops are odd sometimes...you know... frivolous lawsuits from people who get what they want and then if something happens...bam... someone's fault not theirs

275 60 r 20 is the size that was on the 20in wheel on the 4th gen ram... there is about 1 in difference in height with the 5th gen 20in 275-55r20.

so they will fit but your speedometer will be a little off
