What size wheel space should I use?

I am currently running the stock Laramie wheels with the stock 275/55r20 tires. I am looking to go with a larger tire in the future. Possibly a 285/60r20. With my stock wheels what size spacer would bring my tires either even with the fenders or just right outside? If anyone has my current stock wheel set up with a size tire close to where I'm wanting and with a spacer please feel free to post some pictures. Thanks!

If you go with that 1.5" taller tire it will throw your speedometer off by +3 mph @ 60 (actual speed will be 63), if you don't reprogram.

I know about the follow ups I'd have to do. Just looking for options on bring the edge of tire out to the fender or an inch past.

Bummer that no one has responded yet. I just had 285/60R20 Continental Terrain Contact A/T installed on my Laramie. I do NOT have a lift kit installed. So, stock suspension and stock 20" wheels.

They look great and do not stick out at all. But, there is a little bit of rubbing at full lock to the left. I know I need spacers. Trying to decide if 1" will be enough.

Here are some pictures of what they look like.

I have 1.5 frt and 2.0 rear, Mine stick out a decent amount. There are plenty of pics of mine on this forum for reference. My vote would be 1.25 frt/rear. That would get you a little past flush but would look really good IMO.

I actually like the way they look with the stock offset on the Laramie wheels but due to rubbing issues that would be the only reason I install spacers. I have also heard the 1.25 work well to prevent that. I have the Bilsteins in the front to help with extra head clearance. Has anyone seen posts with the 1.25 installed on the front and rear? And do they make that size hub centric

It's damn near impossible to find the 1.25 spacers with the 6 lug pattern
