Hello all,

First time here. I know this site is for 2019+ but I am hoping someone can give me some idea of the towing capacity of my 2018 Outdoorsman crew cab hemi 5.7 with MDS, 3.92 gear ratio, trailer package, upgraded suspense and using the Husky Centerline 32218 WD hitch with sway control.

Anything you can provide would be fantastic.....

Thanks, Rick

There is alot that goes into how much you can tow.

Our towing section here goes into great detail.

To start download the 2018 towing charts.

On another note the configurator has been updated and much more accurate.

If you haven't already sign up with Mopar as a Ram owner. Put your VIN in and it will give you your payload and max tow.

Remember max tow is with only 300lbs of passengers/cargo.

So it will be much less, unless you are by yourself with no cargo.

If you need help with links, let me know.

Get some numbers and come back.

You should have GVWR of 6900. Your payload will be on the tire and loading sticker on your driver's door jamb.

GCWR is decided by your rear gear...with 3.92 you will have the most. The chart will tell you this.

Stop back with info and we will talk...or go with the popular...trucks are underrated, load up and go...lol

Looks like about 15950 lbs would be your Gross Combined Weight Rating.

Could possibly be more, I used a 2016 chart, but atleast it will be close

You can go to the RAM site aswell and enter your VIN.

It works back to 2009 for 1500 and 2010 for HeavyDuty.

Go down to lookup my vehicle click link and entr VIN
