Have a strange one going on over the last few weeks, I have been experiencing ramping and fluctuation of the volume on my radio . Today it was so bad I had to turn the radio off(Not a big fan of doing this because I'm experiencing the break squeal as well!). The issue happens on all sources, FM, Car Play, SXM. It does it when the vehicle is parked or moving and when the speed adjustable volume is completely turned off. If you have any thoughts on what could be causing it I would appreciate any direction and advice!

I just picked my new 2019 up the other day and noticed the same issues...... I'm gonna do a bit of digging around and see if I can find anything.

It's something to to with the auto volume. I was sitting without the engine running but the accessory power on. I just happened to catch my screen (I leave my dash screen on the speedometer) when I noticed it went to 0,then a few dashes, and that's exactly when the sound ramped up. I turned off the auto volume adjust (the speed volume adjust) and it hasn't done it since.

I had the same thing happen yesterday. I did not have speed volume adjust enabled. It steadily increased out of nowhere despite me turning it down repeatedly and turning on and off the power to the console. Actually the last time I turned it back on it came on full blast at 30 (out of 30) and my ears have been ringing since. This all happened while driving on the highway in heavy traffic. It's not safe to drive the truck if this can happen at any time and my ears are certainly not happy about it.

I also have the 12" screen... Does anyone known anything more about this issue?

just a heads up everyone, went in to have a few recalls done on my truck and they mentioned they ran a firmware update on the radio and that appears to have resolved the issue.

Can you share your software version?
