so first time towing over the weekend pulling 6500 pounds. If you plan on towing a lot definitely get the 3.92 gear. I have the 3.21 and it was ok but not something I would want to do on a regular basis.

I do have a question. When I started the trip a light came on the dash it was a symbol of a trailer with 30 ft under it. Half way through the trip we got gas and started again and the symbol went away. Had tow haul option on the whole time.
Anybody know what the symbol was a about and why it went away and never came back on? Thanks

The trailer length detection is an awesome feature, especially with my 30' travel trailer in tow. It works perfectly as I too did a dry run a couple weeks ago w my RV. Got the timbrens installed since this pic so no more sagging. Trailer brake works great too. Also ordered an Under Cover Elite Tonneau cover color matched to the truck that should be here in a couple weeks.

This is what I tow, 22 ft. That’s correct about the blind spot tow showingg 30 ft.

Thats a nice trailer, I'm picking up a 8.5x20x7 pace enclosed trailer for my SXS when I get back to the U.S. next week. I figured out how the trailer detection works...you begin to drive and you do a slow left turn and a right turn and the truck determines your trailers length. Sweet technology

Ya that’s what was inside. I also use it for snowmobiles. I’ve towed it over 11,000mikes on my 13 Ram, both had 3.92.

Have the 3.21 but my bass boat typically only goes out once or twice a month.

That's BAd ***! Exactly why I'm picking up the trailer I started before. I'll post pics when I pick it up. This is my current trailer and SXS.

You saidnyou had some air bags, did you install them? I previously used the small airlift ones that go inside the springs. They worked pretty well and are cheap. I haven’t put any in the 19’ yet. I do use a Anderson sway control load level hitch, it’s very lightweight compared to the equalizer stylemikes a few weeks ago to Idaho where those pics are, no bags, just the hitch. Worked pretty well

What I used on the 3500 in the pics and the 19 Ram are Timbrens SES ( Suspension enhancement system). I ordered the heavy duty 8600lbs pair. It's the DR1500DQ. $214 online. They replace factory bump stops...they are 6" tall and it's only 1 but and bolt. Very simple to do. 15min to install both.

Oh yes, and if or when you order they dont have 2019 specs yet (Timbren) but the 2018 timbrens fit perfectly. Just a heads up.

Do they ride a little different when unloaded?
Not at all, I have 1-1/2" from bottom of timbren to differential so the factory suspension travels as it should and give that smooth ride. It's only when loaded that timbrens do what they are designed to do. Look em up on youtube or google. I have been pleased for years now and it was a no brainer when I got the 2019 ram. I was introduced to them by 4 old timers that went to my buddies shop and all had superduty and 3500 duallys that they used to tow 5th wheels and wanted them installed on their trucks. He did and I was there when 2 of them came back w them installed towing their 5th wheels. I was amazed

This only applies for non-air suspension correct?
