Hi,
I've read the Manual a few times about this subject, but unfortunately it does not accurately describe what your driveline is doing while in this mode.
Anyone know the answer to this question ?
Does it lock the truck's driveline into a certain gear for optimum performance ?
Is it the same as down shifting gears and keeping an eye on your tachometer for optimum performance towing up & down hills ?

It changes shift points for better acceleration and deceleration. You can also pick your top gear using the +/- button.

It holds gears longer to get the engine into peak horsepower/ torque.

The transmission also detects uphill/downhill and compensates the shifts for that purpose.

Very beneficial not only for towing, but for driving in hilly terrain
