I have not really checked my truck for the water leaks but occasionally look back there and don't notice anything. is this pretty much something every truck has? Or am I hopefully driving a unicorn?

:ROFLMAO:
No, you don't have a unicorn if it doesn't leak. It seems to be one of the more common complaints here, but bay far the majority of us don't have a leak issue.

I didn't have a leak in almost 5 months. But wouldn't take through the carwash after people on here saying theirs leaked. Changed the gasket a few days ago, took through car wash last night, no leak.

its standard at the dealer weather you have a truck or a jeep, car, minivan, the ford dealer in albany does the same thing..oil
change or a major job at both..been doing it for 3 or 4 years, they called me today and said they have a ram loaner instead of this grand cherokee while waiting for the parts

Am I the only one impressed with your dealer service guy sending you a video of what's wrong? Is that a covid thing or just the really awesome level of service that dealer provides?

Are you getting the Back Window Assembly replaced due to a Crack?
I had mine done some time back...started leaking again...Not sure what it is yet.
Are they installing the 68426398AD window assembly?

I understand a 100% redesign of any vehicle will have issues at first! However with these new rams, I can’t believe the number of issues that have been known about since the first part of 2019 and many of these issues are still not resolved in 2021! Ram bought my 19 back for major vibration issues, I had a 2021 built, with only 300 miles on it now, it’s too early to tell if I’ll have issues or not. This should be the best truck out there. I loved my 19 and love my 2021. However, I feel like ram is not working on fixing these common issues.🤷🏻‍♂️💩

Never look at a F-150 if you think RAM is bad in this regard. An entire generation (2015-2020) had warped dash, frozen door locks, and IWE failures. 2nd Gen 3.5 (2017+) and 2nd Gen 5.0 (2018+) had off throttle rattle that still isn't fixed,, and many think it is a symptom of not enough oil flow to upper part of engine. That is just off the top of my head. The 2021 is mostly a cosmetic upgrade not mechanical or structural, so these problems may still persist.

Your 2021 will probably be fine.

I think someone had mentioned the F-150’s use the same 3rd brake light as we have, and thus they also will be having this issue too. They also only just recently redesigned the gasket (with a new part number) so basically any vehicle manufactured before that part update may leak.

Check Check Check, My sister's son has had all of these in the F150. The 5.0V8, specifically as to the engine part.

Surprisingly, I have not had any issues with my truck (well, the A/C sucks, but I just use the hose clamp band-aid)
My truck sit on the lot in the elements SEVERAL months before I bought it, so been lucky on the leak, and it stays in the garage now.
