Weren’t these the parts they had shortages of for building trucks?

Are vehicle sales way down? Seems odd when just about every other company can’t hire enough help.

I think the parts in shortage were chips and the associated electronic modules. If they can't see themselves producing enough parts to finish trucks, I can see how they don't need the additional support for body stamping.

Plus RAM does have one of the largest inventories for trucks on dealer lots, substantially more than both Ford and GM has at the moment. They are likely adjusting production to expected demand and what they can actually build with the other parts they have.
