Great in theory, but won’t be able to be produced in mass quantities for years. If manufacturers are losing production of an estimated 11 million vehicles this year (last year was 10 million lost) and a few manufacturers are considering halting all ‘22 vehicle production to stockpile chips for MY ‘23 vehicles, then whetting people’s appetite for new tech is a fruitless effort. That is, unless they want to stoke demand even higher to break more record profits by having much less supply than demand.
