Steering Wheel Shift Controls?

Are there any hardware or software mods that allow any of the steering wheel buttons to be used to shift up or down?
I know how the Gear Limit switch works, but I'm after commanding an upshift...

you may command but it will not obey. i am not familiar enough wiht the FCA lineup to guess which models have paddle shifters, but that would be the starting point. not going to happen without major surgery and a bunch of money.
