I bought my truck with 10 miles on it in July 2018 and brought it back 3 days later for the vibration. My vibration happens around 75mph and is constant. It feels like it is coming from the back of the truck. You can feel it in the seat but the steering wheel does not shake. However, if you have a water bottle in the cup holder, you can clearly see the vibration. I am in south Florida so the issue is unrelated to cold weather.
Since I purchased the truck, I've had it back to the dealer 3 times:
1st dealer visit: SA says they drove it at speed limit and "could not duplicate" issue. Total BS.
2nd dealer visit: They said the tires needed to be balanced and performed RFB on all tires. Also, adjusted the camber, caster, sterring and toe. Still have the issue.
3rd (independent tire shop) visit: The shop called me after an hour and said they feel the vibration but the balance and alignment is "perfect". Suggested it could be suspension or drive shaft and I should contact dealer. Come pick up vehicle, no charge.
4th dealer visit: Said two tires needed balancing. Took all weights off and re-balanced. The issue still remains but happens closer to 80mph now. SA not willing to go over 70mph on test drive.
At this point I'm mad. I'm going to replace the tires to see if that fixes the issue, but after that I'm escalating through Dodge until I get it fixed. I used to love this truck but now I'm warning my friends to stay away.
Please post if you come up with a solution.

I have the same issue but I have Goodyear Eagle Touring Tires. They replaced 3 saying they were flat spotted. Initially the problem was between 58 and 62. Now it is from 62 all the way to 82 and truck is shaking so bad I won't go any faster. I was hoping it was tires but it seems to not matter since you have Bridgestone tires. I am really concerned it is a major issue with the design. I will be taking mine back for the third time. If they can't repair the issue this time I will be pursuing the lemon law.

There is a whole thread on this issue, but just to touch on what you’ve said, I’m experiencing the same thing. A good friend of mine that is a 20 plus year mechanic has thrown at me wind buffeting. I have a Harley that has a fairing and depending on the size windshield I’m running the buffeting on that thing causes major vibrations at speeds above 50. If I put all my windows down when my truck is doing it, the buffeting is unbearable and the shake is magnified. To me something on this truck isn’t working as it’s supposed to and the wind is fighting to get by it. Guys have changed tires and wheels and are still having this issue. Just my opinion though.

I hope they figure it out for you. On a side note awesome boat! I loved my 220 Sea Ray and owned it the longest! I owned a 182 Sport, 220 Select, 240 Sundancer, and currently own a 240 SDX.

Consider having a road force balance done... I had exactly the same issue between 70 and 75 miles per hour ...my tire/wheel setup was out of balance on the left rear....this goes beyond regular spin balancing...also my truck came from the factory needing a front toe-in alignment

Hey, new member here. I just bought a 2019 Limited, 22 inch rims, Goodyears and am experiencing the same vibrations as other people from 57-60 mph. Tried disconnecting active dampening modules under truck as well as turn off MDS but the vibrations didn’t go away. I’ll go through the whole tire replacement and balance with alignment as everyone else and see if it helps. Has anyone had their driveshaft balanced just to see if it makes a difference? It seems like we need to go through a process of elimination to find a solution. Going to the dealer is never the solution unfortunately.

I seriously think it's a torque converter issue..
The chevy shake was supposedly cured by draining the trans fluid with the defective fluid that was deteriorating the torque converters and or replacing the converters themselves

Hi Landrover1,

I do regret to hear of the trouble you are experiencing. If you do end up having to work with your dealer on this, please know that our team is just a private message away and we are happy to provide you with an additional layer of support for that process.

Well I took the truck back to the dealership. They did the road force balance after replacing three tires. Shake at 57 mph almost gone, definitely much better. Eventually I’ll replace those with nitro ridge grapplers anyways.

I think so too. I had a 17 canyon Denali with that garbage 8 speed. Changing the fluid helped but didn’t fully solve the shuddering issues. At 30 mph my truck feels like it wants to downshift but won’t (cuz it’s at 1500rpm) and it kind of chugs along. I feel rotational imbalance side to side, which the torque converter would bf the obv culprit from 25-65 mph then it smoothes right out at high speeds, no problem at all cruising on the highway. Something ain’t right on this 2020 limited and I can’t ****in wait til they figure out what it is. Drives like it’s been sitting for 6 months

Do you know how long the truck sat at the dealer ? I had the same issue happened as soon as I got on the hwy when I bought it. Took it back three times in the same week till they finally replaced all 4 tires. My truck sat on the lot for 10 months. All the tires has flat spots on them

I bought a 2019 Limited 4x4 with 3.92 gears, 22” Goodyear Touring Tire’s. My vibration was noted by me on test drive and I should have walked away then! My 2016 Ram 2500 diesel rode better than this thing! I love the truck as far as looks and interior. I have taken it back to Gwinnett CDJR 3 times and the last time they put a set of Goodyear Fortera tires on and it seems a little worse and during the tire swap they scratched a couple of wheels. They are offering to repair the wheels. I’m at my wits end! The vibration is at 52 to 56mph and again around 64 to 68 mph but between 41 to 44mph it feels like a slight wobble it the rear. Service advisor doesn’t ride in the truck. Left it with them last time for 4 days and they didn’t even wash the tire lube off of the wheels. They also took it to Goodyear who told them the original touring tires were not the issue so they would not warranty them and that was when they decided to replace them. Has anyone here who had the issue found the problem?

Hi Ctdriver007,

I'm sorry to hear of the frustration that has been associated with your ownership experience. When was the last time you addressed this with Gwinnett? I would be happy to learn additional details of your situation via private message to determine how to best assist you at this point. We can get you connected with a case specialist who can work alongside both you and your dealer to try and resolve this concern if you plan to work with them again.

I went through the same crap for a few months. Same issue, vibration. Had tires balanced 4 times was told once the tires were all bad. My dealer wouldn't do anything. Went to Goodyear and they said there was nothing wrong with the tire. They replaced them anyway. Brought it back to the dealer. They rebalanced yet again and then said one of the new tires was bad. Goodyear replaced that one because they felt bad for me and said there was nothing wrong with that tire as well. Tried the dealer where I bought the truck. The service manager took a ride with me. He said, "WOW this rides mint!". I said you don't feel that vibration? He said, yes but they are all like that and yours is better than most!. He was supposed to have a service rep meet with me the following Monday. Never heard a word back from them. They all just pass the buck and won't look at the real cause of the problem. I have a lease and once that is up I'll have to buy it due to the mileage I put on but once I buy it I am immediately trading it for a Chevy or Ford! NEVER buy a RAM product again!!!

I had mine road-force balanced 3 times, 5 new tires and problem still exists...RAM service sucks!

Same issue from same dealer..2019 limited.
I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and in the reply they made false claims that they addressed the concern..total b.s.
Long story short filed lemon law claim, was awarded 10gs, truck still shakes..I'm certain its drivetrain related...dont let them tell you it's in the tires or flat spots they are trained to tell you that.
