Hey ram owners. I’m ordering some steps for my truck. I keep seeing some online that are 5” some 6” and even 4” what would you all go with on a crew cab? I don’t want something to short and nothing to long of course.

Did you have any issues installing them? Due to the paint over spray

Need to remove all the overspray. I used wire brush wheel on my dremel. Be sure you can hand thread the nuts easily on each bolt otherwise you will likely cross thread the nut.

OP I would just advise caution. A few folks have broken the factory studs.

Is there anything out there similar to the side steps on the f150’s?? Those were perfect. Composite and sat high and tight up against the cab. The factor Mopars sit way too low.

Do you happen to have any side view pics of these on your truck? I'm interested in replacing my OEM ones with these if they sit closer to the body...
These sit pretty close, if you would like a closer I can take another pic

Go Rhino makes great side steps (they used to call them Raptor style, RB something).. dont think they have much for the 19 out yet.. I'm waiting until they do to buy mine. Had issues in the last with a few brands other than them

Mopar has a set of off-road running boards (82215508AB). They are similar to the Go Rhino ones and the ones on my Raptor. Sitting at the dealership, waiting for my truck to arrive. They sit pretty close.

Yeah they want entirely too much for them based on what I seen. Like $800 or so for them. Screw that!

They are really sweet and solid as Fawk.
