Replacing my rear bumper with one from Rough Country that has built in bed steps on the sides. When removing the wiring harness from the original bumper there are sensors at each end (or I think they are sensors). They are not the small circular ones, these are about 2" x 4" and about 1/2" thick. They were not visible from the outside. The new bumper has the circular holes for the higher end Ram trucks with 6 sensors, but nothing for the rectangular one. I guess it was able to work through the plastic/fiberglass bumper. Anyone know what this is? I'm sure I can rig some way to mount, but wondering what it is and if it's needed. PIctures below20241122_211139.jpg20241122_211149.jpg

Looks specific to the 2025+ models. When I look it up it is listed as a “mid range radar”. Definitely not present on previous years, might make it incompatible with aftermarket bumpers for the 2019-2024 trucks.
