Has anyone removed the inner wheel well covers and applied anything for extra rust protection along the lip where Dodge and a few others are notorious for rusting. I was looking for suggestions right now thinking of using a bed liner type of spray.

I'm on board with suggestions. Somewhere on the forum this has been discussed.

Rot on my 2001 Dodge Ram, bed panels are OK, doors are bad. Other pictures are of my 1985 Toyota Corolla that was Zeibarted back in 1985. Zeibart required an annual inspection. Franchise that did it was in Wall Township, NJ and is no longer in business. In the long run I think Zeibart is limited and did not perform as advertised.

I'm kinda of the opinion and annual examination and application of fluid film may be the best bet. I have no experience with fluid film but seems to be recommended for snow chute clogging.
