Ram box lid not fitting properly. My new ram has been in 3 times now to try and adjust the ram box lid. They replaced the lid only to end up with a dent above the latch . They are working in another lid to replace it. I can clearly see that the issue is the ram box liner has been machined wrong with placement of bolt holes. The passenger side box fits snug on the frame while the drivers side is up about a 1/16 of an inch. If the screw holes were dropped to allow it to touch the frame the problem would be solved. No adjusting will fix this as it is closed all the way and the box will not allow it fill the gap between the liner and the box. This is a $71,000 dollar truck I feel this issue should be looked at. Id never order them again unless I truly needed them. Found myself loading them with junk I never used. Mine are not seated properly also. Decided to go the route of leaving them alone rather than having dealer fool around with something they dont know how to fix.
