i have a 2022 Laramie 5.7 4 corner air, i want to install the ppe trans pan, but the exhaust
runs right under the the factory pan about an inch under the drain plug, the ppe pan
should fit 2019 to 2021 and 2022 have not changed. has any one attempted this this
and do you have to lower the exhaust, i did install one on my 2015 ecodiesel but the
exhuast was not right under the darn thing. the clearance is what bothers me.

i called ppe about the exhaust, and they confirmed the fit and i do have to disconnect the exhaust to get factory pan off and
new pan up in place.

I’ve watched a couple videos on changing the factory plastic pan and it’s a tight fit. The PPE pan would be even tighter so exhaust removal or raising of the rear transmission mount will be necessary.

I am planning on installing the PPE pan myself when the time comes, should be much easier on my ecodiesel. It’s not much more than the factory pan and has a removable filter. Durability should be improved over the plastic factory pan, I’m not to worried about the extra cooling it may provide as these trannys run cool anyways.

i installed one on 2015 ecodiesel and it was really easy. no exhaust cross over, i also installed their ppe engine oil pan 2 extra quarts motor oil,
the engine did seem to run a little cooler, since i will be towing a fifth wheel with this hemi i will do the trans pan when it becomes time to change
it, i think about 30,000 i would do an oil pan like my ecodiesel but it would be way to difficult and i don't think they Even offer one for the 5.7 hemi
anyway when i do change it i will post pics
