Hello all,

I purchased a 2019 Ram Bighorn black a couple of weeks ago. On the drive home, I noticed a popping sound on the Carplay when I hung up from a call. I didnt think much of it until I couldnt hear callers about a week later. Now, everytime I use bluetooth OR Carplay, I still have this loud pop through the speakers when hanging up and it intermittently doesnt connect to a call at all. Anyone heard about this or experienced this issue before? Im going to take it back to the dealership to troubleshoot but if anyone had any experience with this issue, it might be helpful. Thanks!

First I've read about it, and I do not have a similar issue on my Longhorn. Good luck at the dealer.

Hi bmoney5813,

Thank you for sharing your experience. This is not the experience we like to hear from our 2019 Ram owners. I would be happy to provide additional assistance while your truck is at the dealer. Please send us a private message with your VIN and mileage so that we can look into this further for you.

UPDATE:
I did a hard reset on the phone and it seemed to get rid of the problem. I now have a starting issue that ill discuss in another thread but the phone connectivity seems to be fixed.

Hello I have this same problem with my 19 Bighorn. What phone are you using? I am using the IPhone XS Max. Are you still have problems after the rest? I haven’t a hard reset yet.

I’m having the same issue on a xs max when I change track or hang up a call. Almost like a skipping sound
