Anyone have an issue with their windows binding? Bought the truck in July and immediately noticed this problem upon taking possession. Dealer fixed it and look what just happened right now! So Cal isn’t thaaaaaat hot yet.

This is the 2nd time it happened in less than a year

I am very sorry to see that this is happening, @Mpickwith. If you address this with your dealer again, please follow up with us via private message. I would like to escalate a case on your behalf to a specialist for further support through that process. This will provide the dealership and yourself with an individual who will review your concern, then assist you and the dealership in exhausting all available resources to have the concern addressed and resolved.

What is THAT ???.

A lot of adhesive and some felt from what appears to be trim or the window felt from inside the door panel I guess. Went to the dealer yesterday and was left hanging so don’t really know what exactly it is yet..

Oh no, I’m really sorry to hear this and makes me want to check my truck whenever it comes back to the house.

In the first pic, it appears the issue is on the inside. On the second pick, it's on the outside. How did it get on the outside trim of your truck?

Yeah the probably is definitely inside the door panel. The first pic is right when it happened Tuesday AM. The second pic was yesterday afternoon when I had the truck washed. I asked the guy to try to clean the adhesive off, he used his pressure washer and got too close knicking the outer moulding. There’s still adhesive on the window.

Dealer should have it fixed Thursday.

The idiot guy that power washed your trim and damaged it should pay to have it replaced.

Update to the window issue: Dealer replaced the window trim as that is what i had come apart causing the felt and adhesive to stick to my window. They replaced the trim and said it’s good to go. Odd that’s the 2nd time it’s happened to me in less than 1 year
