Pairing phone as favorite

I only have my cell phone bluetooth turned on when actively using it, which is not very often. Every time I turn it on in my truck it keeps asking if I want to make the phone my favorite.

Happens to me often. Annoying. And then the screen defaults to the contact list on my 12" screen. I then have to manually change it back to my radio.
