Operate power travel trailer jack with dead trailer battery

My F150 would power my jack when electronically connected to my travel trailer but my 2019 Ram 1500 will not. Is there a trick to this or am I out of luck?

Did you check that the 7way charging line has power? It's supposedly Fuse 1 on the inside box, a 30 amp. Plenty of people have also found connectors on the backside that weren't fully seated.

Find the manual backup crank. Most I can get out of my 7 way connector is 1amp.

I power my small winch from the 7 way (draws 10-25a, 45a stall) so you should have no problem. I did replace the fuse with a circuit breaker, but wiring is stock.

It’s a good idea, but the truck doesn’t need to be running.
