Does anyone know of a reliable, inexpensive OBD2 scanner/programmer that works on their Ram 1500?

BlueDriver, I love mine. https://www.bluedriver.com/ It works via Bluetooth with a phone or tablet. I have used it with no problems on a 2007 Nissan Altima, 2003 RAM 1500, 2012 Jeep Wrangler, 2015 Dodge Journey, and just used it on my 2019 RAM the other day to diagnose my check engine light.

Was looking at this for my 2019 1500 Classic and my wife's 2018 VW Atlas. Glad to hear it works well.

They all generally will work, the cheaper $15 buck Bluetooth ones along with the Torque App (Apple or Android) work great with most things, lets you view real time data, and including clearing basic codes.

You may need some of the higher dollar $40 - $60 hand held models to clear some more advanced codes, but that's rare.
