New Bighorn Owner From Central FL

Hello everyone, Name is Jeremiah, and I picked up my ‘21 Ram 1500 Bighorn a little over a month ago. first off let me say that I have been reading through these forums for a month or two now and I’m very impressed with the friendliness and overall support offered in this group. Quite different from my previous forum experiences in the past.

This is my first full size truck, and I’m loving it so far. I’ve needed a truck for years and finally decided to pull the trigger as my previous daily driver of 7 years started to become high maintenance with a headache of issues. I love motorcycles and power-sports in general and this truck will surely help support that addiction.

I’ve already done some basic changes to the truck including window tint, side steps, and aftermarket all weather floor mats. I also have rims, tires, and a 3.5” ReadyLift kit in the garage waiting to be installed. I plan to start a photo heavy build thread soon to keep track of the progress along the way.

I look forward to getting to know the group better while sharing our passion for our rides.

I went with the Fuel Rebel wheels in black. They seem to be a pretty popular choice for our trucks and while I wanted to go with something different, I couldn’t get over how good they look on our generation. They are 20x10 with a -18 offset.

The tires are Kenda Klever R/T 35x12.5R20. I’ve seen numerous positive reviews on these and at the price point, I figured I’d give them a shot. Being in FL, I’m sure they’ll do just fine for my needs.

super stoked to get everything on the truck. The matte/satin wheels are going to match very well against the truck and the sidesteps I believe.

Today was the big day! Just picked the truck up about an hour ago and I'm in love! These were just a couple quick shots that I took. I plan to get the truck cleaned up this weekend and get some better photos of it afterwards. The last photo I attached is a side view comparison from the day I picked it up from the dealer to now. I'm still planning to get a build thread going on here soon and I'll be sure to upload more photos in that thread. I'll also be sure to post my setup in the wheel and tire thread with a brief write up when I get a few extra minutes. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Thank you, appreciate it! Yeah, I had a black Mazda about 10 years ago and I somehow forgot about the heat aspect that comes along with the color choice haha. I added ceramic window tint to all of the glass like 3 days after I purchased the truck, and I will say that alone has made a world of difference. This is also my first vehicle with remote start, and I love being able to crank the a/c and allow it to cool down for a few minutes before hopping in each afternoon. Every little bit helps when dealing with our brutal summer months.
