Has anyone with a Maximum Steel Ram debadged their truck? Do you have any pics you can share? I have a Maximum Steel Laramie and I want to see options before I remove badging. Also how how you debadged you Ram for anyone who has? Any advice you can give?

Thanks,

MileHi Guy

Its simple. Head up the badges a little bit, not too hot. Can do a little bit and try to "shimmy" fishing line or similar between the truck and badges. I used wax string. Once off, I used IPA to clean off adhesive. Some people buy some 3M erasure, which is waste of money.

I dont have that color so maybe I did give some insight. The doors are much better without "RAM" in the way.

I haven't seen another Max Steel colored truck yet. I'll probably see them all the time now. I went to the dealership thinking I wanted to get black - like a night edition. When I saw the Maximum steel metallic, I knew what I was getting. Looks great, but I would love to see it without the badges on.

Got mine debadged today after work took about 45 min for all 4 sets, now I live in ax so the body was already fairly warm.
Heated with a heat gun till slightly uncomfortable on the bare hand, fishing line to take off badges then slowly rolled and pulled the main glue off.

wiped down with alcohol, then wiped up with a microfiber and some clean and wax solution,

getting professional detail and wax tomorrow
