I recently finished my de-chroming mods. I ordered the badges in black and the upper-grill trim unpainted. I had an auto body friend color match it all. I kept the inner-grill stock as I like the polished look. I haven’t solved for the door handles or the tail gate chrome strip. I also ordered the plain black OEM rubber window trim and removed the original chrome strips.
lastly added 285/65/20 falken At3 on new BR rims. Looks very nice! Very sharp!!

Personally, I like the small bit of chrome left on the door handles and tailgate handle. Ties into the front end!!

If you change your mind about the tailgate handle, I just had my body shop guy pull it and painted mine body colored.

Not sure on the tailgate... I ordered an unpainted tailgate bezel, (was considering painting it) but the camera hole didn’t line up with my existing rear camera, maybe the limited has different bezel internals. But there wasn’t a way to make it work. Then I do still have some chrome all around the truck; and I don’t want to change the tow hooks or the grill... not sure where it all ends.. gonna drive it for a bit and think on it.
I need help getting rid of my stock rim and tires... not sure what to do with those.

As far as the tailgate bezel I had done the same thing and just like you my new one also didn’t match up. So used my original one and had that removed and painted. I used my other vehicles while that was being done (1 day ) then just reinstalled. Sent the new bezel back for my refund. The sad part is I gave them my vin and still couldn’t get a correct part lol.
Now as far as the wheels and tires, California is huge so I’m sure for the right deal folks will come near and far to gain these. Post for a reasonable price and be patient. The reason why I say patient is because as anyone knows who sells anything, the low ballers come out all times of day and night. :)

Did you paint the side hood decals?
Yeah I ordered black ones and painted the surrounding loop, I did not paint the “1500” inside. The painter felt like it wouldn’t adhere perfectly to that area.
a real pain in the *** to remove the hood decals
