Looks like we have a failure

Check engine light came on last night, Motor then stalled and it sure does sound like something broke inside.

At the dealer now we will see in a few day when they dig into it what exactly failed.

Sorry your Ram is grounded; hopefully it's a "small" fix and not a transplant.

First reports back valve spring broke... They do not believe any piston contact so maybe a simpler repair.

early hemis but was understood to have been fixed years ago. Maybe just a fluke

The sound greatly exaggerates the actual rpm. 1100-1500.

After revving the engine with the broken valve spring, like in the video, I would bet there was contact.

I was going to say the same thing...no offense to the OP but that wasn't the brightest thing to do already knowing or suspecting there was most likely some kind of internal engine damage. It could only make things worse, not better. The "first, do no harm" (or potentially exacerbate the damage) that applies to doctors should also be the thinking with stuff like this.
