iPhone X silent now when connect

My IPhone X would make sound when receiving text messages or alerts while connected through Bluetooth to the unit, but for some reason now only calls will make sound through the speakers and the phone is silent when receiving messages or alerts. Anybody else have this problem? iPhone update issue maybe? Any fix that’s known? Thanks in advance!

Hate to resurrect this post but I noticed this same issue today with mine. When not connected with Bluetooth to the truck messages or alerts would make normal sounds. Once connected I get nada. Am I missing an IPhone setting? UConnect setting?
