Hello all,

I recently bought a 2020 1500 Laramie sport. I want to add a tonneau cover. I’m kind of leaning towards a tri fold. What do you guys recommend? Should I go OEM? Should I stay away from the cheap ones on Amazon? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm in Southwest Florida and I have a rough country from 2017 crew but it fits my 19 and main reason I like it is all metal and aluminum facing the sun. No rubber at all exposed on top so it should last a lot longer than others. I had OEM which I loved but still exposed rubber. Like that the back fold closest to the cab would fold toward the back and with a lock. $600. Didn't want to spend more on oem. Good luck.

The best one is the one you like best , personally I like the roll ups because you can have almost instant access to the entire bed and when your done just roll it back down .

i like the use of the tonno pro due to you can just roll it up in seconds and it is very esy to instal, and the price is like $200 . i was going to get the other styles like a hard shell cover, but this works out very nice for the price and what i use the bed for,but if your looking for classy style and waterproof storage than maybe its worth the extra money. i used my extra money on other mods. :p

I just put the undercover flex armour flex on mine.
Tri fold and has support rods to open it up to a vertical position and gives all our bed space back

I am one of those that took a shot on a cheap soft roll up to just to try it and see how it worked. After about a year I've had zero problems with it and I like how easy it is to roll up and stow away when I'm using the bed. Its a tyger T1 roll cover and you can find it on Amazon. I think I got it for about $170 bucks. There are threads on that particular cover on the forum site if you want to learn more.

I also went armor flex. Nice seal. Hardly any water on heavy rain. Folds and locks nice.

Only thing was i had to shim the back up a bit to close the tailgate. The installation video had the same problem and advised shimming withno instructions. you have to figure that out on yuh our own. Luckily i had a couple washers that were just the right size.

I think its chitty to sell a $600 product that knowingly needs an adjustment and not provide any instructions or shims.

I like the Roll n Lock covers. Very well made, I had one on the Taco that I traded in for the Ram. 2 years and no problems at all. I have ordered a power version for my Ram, push the button and it unlocks and opens by itself. I will post pictures after the install.

I put the Undercover armor flex on mine. Tri fold hard almost disappears when its on.

I went with the aweatherTech Alloy Tri-fold. Great fit. I like that you could put up to 400 lbs on it not that Inwill ever put that much. Also since it is metal it could be painted to match.
